Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD PRICE I BOUGHT 2 BRICKS OF THIS 22LR AND HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS. I SHOT A BERETTA NEOS WITH BOTH 4.5 IN BARREL AND 6 IN BARREL HAD SEVERAL FTF'S AND FTE'S. ALSO USED THIS IN A M&P 15-22 AND HAD THE SAME ISSUES. BOTH GUNS WERE NEWLY PURCHASED, CLEANED AND WELL LUBED BUT BOTH SEMI'S HAD ISSUES. I WILL ATTEMPT TO GET BOTH BROKEN IN A LITTLE BIT BETTER, BUT CCI HV WORKED FLAWLESSLY.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glad I bought it on clearence rather than full Bought 8 boxes of 50 and averaged 3 failures to eject and less than 1 failures to fire per 100 rounds fired. Not happy, with it. I'm not buying these again unless I find it for really cheap I'm talking $0.50 for a box of 50 rounds. This ammo also groups worse than CCI Standard Velocity; which never jammed or failed to fire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best so far I recently bought a early thirties Stevens 417 with a Fecker scope and have been shooting for distance off a concrete bench. Federal HV Match will group 1 5/8 to 1 3/8 at 200 yards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from surprising precision This was some of the first ammunition to come back on the shelves after the shortage. For the first time in 8 years, I got 22 ammo for Christmas thanks to my lovely wife. This ammo will always remind me of Christmas now. On a more important note, I have decided to get back into NRA lever action small bore competition, and I decided to dust off the Marlin model 39 octagon barrel and see what it likes. I tried a dozen different brands/styles of ammo. The Federal HV Match was shocking. I only shoot 10 shot groups and this stuff gave me less than 3/4" at 30 yards (those chickens don't have a chance!) Hands down the best ammo I tried and my lineup included CCI standard Velocity, Wolf, Aguila Match, etc etc etc. None could hold a candle to this ammunition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silhouette magic Bought some of this during the great rimfire shortage as I couldn't find the SK match I usually shoot. Just running out of SK, so I ran some yesterday on the range to lock in zeros. Held very tight groups to 100m, better or equal to any of the most expensive ammo I have tried in my BRNO bolt rifle and Ruger 22/45 match pistol (only tested to 50m). Slightly flatter shooting and less wind than SV match ammo, a big bonus for 100m rams. Cycled the Ruger flawlessly. I will be buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for accurate 22LR I have been looking for a reasonably priced .22LR Match Ammo for competition shooting. I found the Federal Premium HV Match at a local gun shop and chose to give it a try as the price was better than the other "match" ammunition at which I have looked. I have used it in 2 different guns, a Browning Buck Mark Camper made in 2004, and a Ruger Mark IV purchased less that a week ago. I have had no failures of any kind with either gun for over 200 rounds of the HV Match. Both have held tight groups from bench rest at 50 feet with the Browning producing a .75" group at that range and the Ruger (still new with less that 500 rounds through it) consistently holding the 9 ring and the bullseye on a 12" target at 50'. I have also compared it with 2 other brands in both guns, Winchester M22 and CCI Mini-Mag. The other two brands held good groups, except for the Browning with the M22, but in my judgement the Federal HV Match was tighter. The price for a 500 round brick was good with no failures and tight groups - cannot ask for more from my ammunition.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major problem I purchased eight boxes of this ammo a couple of months ago. Two attempts were made to use this ammo. With four different guns I continue to get a failure to eject problem, more than 50%. I called Federal and are having me send two boxes to them for evaluation. They were picked up this evening. It appears that the casings swell up and are difficult to remove from chamber. One of the guns was a new one, totally clean. All of the guns were cleaned prior to use. Them same gun fired 4 other brands with no problems whatsoever. We will see what they learn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 719 I use this ammo in my Remington 597 semi-auto for target shooting at the local range. I am getting 9/16" 5 shot groups at 50 yards. I would like to get 1/2" groups and believe this ammo is capable of it without the slight cross breezes. 2000 rounds and growing with no misfires or hang ups. Very happy with it and the price.
