Ziggy Tkaczenko

Ziggy started shooting trap in 2009 in the Paralyzed Veterans of America circuit. He liked it so much, he decided to go all-in and started shooting ATA. Ziggy joined the Army in 1989, and he had a spinal cord injury a little over a year later. After the injury, he began his journey with wheelchair competitions including wheelchair football, softball, sled hockey, and floor hockey before settling on trapshooting, where he has been dominant. Over the past few years, his trophy case has filled with hardware from top finishes at State Shoots, Satellite Grands, and The Grand American. 

Recent accomplishments:

  • Championship Singles, Doubles, HOA, and HAA for the Spring Grand in the Wheelchair Category
  • All-American since 2010
  • All-American Wheelchair Team Captain from 2012- 2021 and from 2023- current
