Derrick Mein

Raised on a small farm in southeast Kansas, Derrick developed a passion for hunting quail and deer with his father and began shooting clays at age eight, joining his father in a local league. He earned a scholarship to Lindenwood University for shooting and baseball before transferring to Kansas State University, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Animal Science. He represented the USA at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympics, specializing in Men’s Trap. Mein is a 2022 World Champion and a multi-time National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) champion.
