Let me first start by saying I had purchased this shot at a local hardware/outdoorshop. I never had much intention of shooting these other than it's better to need it and have it than to need it and to not have it. I normally shoot TSS and have been a believer in this shot for some time now. I guide assist for veterans on turkey hunts. Just something I enjoy doing though one of our state local veteran first responder charity groups. We had already sent 5 turkeys home to 4 happy customers and with every hunter I personally donate them a box of TSS. I had a last minute turkey hunt request by a young man at a charity bow shoot. I was honored to take him and his mother on a turkey hunt. We called a local land owner and made the arrangement scouted some Tom's and set the hunt up. It wasn't but 25 minutes and we had Tom's walking by our decoys. The night before the hunt I noticed I was out of TSS as I had donated the rest of my boxes to our veteran hunters. I have always trusted the Federal brand and I figured it was sink or swim time. The first 5 Jake's came in but weren't quite committed to our decoys. Feeling that our chances had diminished we heard a mature gobble righ behind us on across the creek. I had given a little hen yelp and in no time we had a veteran Tom strutting in our decoys at 20 yards. The young man shot and being that he had a single shot 20 gauge he had no follow up shot. So I had the mother shoot. This turkeybwas on his waybout of dodge when she pulled the trigger. This pay load hit square in the neck of the turkey and that turkey was dead on impact. I had never seen such a fantastic shot and clean kill. That turkey flopped a few times and was dead. At 40 yards there wasn't a single BB in the head and there wasn't a single BB in the breast. I had her shoot a beretta A300 with a Carlsons turkey choke. This payload performed so perfectly I am considering making this a standard go to for turkeys. I will be buying a few more boxes for turkey hunts in the future. Outstanding job Federal. Thank you...
