ANOKA, Minnesota – October 30, 2026 – Federal Ammunition has expanded its Fusion Tipped rifle ammunition product line to include the 25 Creedmoor cartridge. The new Fusion Tipped 25 Creedmoor 130-grain load has a muzzle velocity of 2,850 feet-per-second (fps) and a G1 ballistic coefficient of .578. This new product is available at dealers nationwide.

“The rise of the 25 Creedmoor reflects a growing preference among hunters and long-range shooters for efficient cartridges that pair sleek, high ballistic coefficient bullets with excellent ballistic performance. The result is less drift and drop, reduced recoil and all the terminal performance needed on deer-sized game,” said Josh Vickers, Federal’s Centerfire Rifle Ammunition Product Manager. “Additionally, 125-grain American Eagle and 135-grain Sierra MatchKing target loads in 25 Creedmoor will be coming soon.”
Federal Fusion became a legend in the deer woods for a reason. Its pressure-formed lead core is molecularly bonded to a consistent copper jacket, resulting in the highest weight retention, deepest penetration and best expansion in its class. The recent Fusion Tipped design offers the same great terminal performance as the original, but with a polymer tip that increases ballistic coefficient, flattens trajectories and boosts energy for better accuracy and extended effective range.
The bullet’s copper jacket is electro-chemically bonded to the core, resulting in a uniform jacket. And the polymer tip paired with skived nose cavity initiates consistent, lethal expansion, which ultimately helps reduce wind drift and drop, as well as deliver more energy downrange. The design delivers excellent accuracy and maximum weight retention for deep penetration. Fusion Tipped rifle ammunition is sold in 20-round boxes.
