Federal "Junk"
Like some champion and amer eagle ammo is weak low velocity scratched stained and dinged all fing over ..... So the 115gr 38 super +p or -p amer eagle is way to slow/ weak wont cycle some guns should be 300fps faster !! and or 25 to 50gr heavier.. I complained but didnt get my money back !

Federal weak sauce
Just like their 10mm 180 JHP (which is eaven weaker than their 40S&W), Federal's JHP Super is pathetically weak. It is 100 fps slower than Winchester white box JHP which is 10 grains heavier. This is weaker than weak 9mm. I don't understand why Federal has decided to produce such weak loads -- it's almost like they want to give these cartridges bad reputations. Of all major manufacturers, Federal has the slowest 40S&W. Their 10mm is even slower. 38 Super is a very capable cartridge that consistently exceed 9mm +P performance, except if made by Federal. There is no excuse for this.
