Killing loads!
Just returned from another trip to South Dakota. Pheasant, sharptailed grouse and prairie chicken hunting was excellent. Got the usual comments when I uncased my lightweight Benelli M1 20 gauge "not enough gun, peashooter, etc.". Using these Federal 3" magnum loads of #5 shot and modified choke really opened some eyes to the killing range of my 20. I killed 3 roosters at a stepped-off distance of 50+ yards!. Okay, I'll admit , two of the birds were on the second shot but they folded dead. These shells hit hard and must pattern pretty well! This was the third year I have used these shells and the results have been uniformly excellent. Thanks, Federal!
