Awesome for Sage Rats in Idaho
Was thoroughly impressed by the performance on Sage Rats this week here in Sand Hollow, ID. They handled the wind better than my 204 Ruger. I got a few good hits at 200 yards, but almost everything else we shot was between 50 and 150 yards. The red mist was frequent and visible through the scope because of the light recoil. Today was windy and we got rained out early. I was using my 223 and could honestly confirm one hit as I saw it cartwheel into the sky. The recoil usually negates cleanly seeing the hit like you get with the 17. Looking to buy some more.

Absolutely fantastic round
I matched this ammo up with my Savage 93r and absolutely loves it. I've even been able to take a pretty large Coon with it no pass through though but it didn't move dropped in the spot

Great round
Rifle is a Marlin 917V Hunting with this round is great, BUT, don't use in windy conditions, and if you are hunting rabbits or squirrels for meat, go for the head shot ONLY, if you take a body shot...you probably won't have any edible meat left... A rabbit will literally EXPLODE...Varmit hunting is a blast. Ground hogs and coyotes are no match for this ammo!

Great combo
Accuracy is my feeling for this amo. Set up was a clay bird at a distance of 180 yards With a Savage Arms Model 93R17 Rifle .17Hmr With a BSA Sweet 17 Riflescope ( no doute a killing combination)
