Awesome power and penetration
I used this ammo for an elk hunt a month ago. I took a semi large 5x5 bull with my 300 win mag and these 180gr trophy bonded tips. Hit the bull elk in the ribs with a slightly countering away shot. This was a 429 yard shot. On impact the elk hunched its back and walked off slowly. We found the bull dead less than 50 yards of where he originally was standing. When we opened him up the bullet had made a complete pass through on its far shoulder smashing through bone but did not cause much meat damage unlike other softer polymer tip bullets i have tried in the past. I would recommend it to any serious elk hunter.
