Great bullet
Used these for years, black bears, deer, boars, blue wildebeest, even big zebra stallions are no match for trophy bonded tips. I recovered a couple from wildebeest and zebra, they look like the pictures in the brochures. Perfect mushrooms and straight shanks. I'm hoping these don't get discontinued but the terminal ascent bullets seem to be built pretty much the same way. Overall, great bullet for the bigger stuff, really don't need it for deer but what the heck.

DEPENDABLE
Hunted Zimbabwe with 32 one shot kills on Impala, Water Buck, Nyala, Zebra, Kudu and Leopard using the 180 grain Trophy Bonded Tip. All shots were pass throughs. Shots ranged from 60 to 250 yards with very little collateral damage which is great for mounting trophies. Same is true for here in the states with feral hogs, large whitetail deer and elk. All one shot kills. On doe, usually do head shots from 50 to 150 yards, very accurate. A totally assume bullet!!

This Bullet Delievers
So far only fired this bullet at one deer. The Doe was facing straight at me at 110 yds. I put the crosshairs middle of her chest and she dropped without ever taking a step. I recovered the bullet in a back leg! It passed through her entire body and it looked just like the mushroomed out picture that federal uses in there advertisements. I weighed it and it still weighed 166.6 gr. That's a 92.5% weight retention. Awesome bullet!

Accurate and Reliable.
Usually use 165 gn Trophy Bonded Bear Claws on nearly all my Hunting.Talked to my P H before my trip to Namibia,Africa...He told me to step up to 180 grns and use these on everything I was going after.Eight of the Twelve Plains Game Animals were One shot kills including a nice Eland Bull . The other Four were poor shooting and or insurance shots. Both my PH and I were very impressed with this Bullet and I will be useing them on Sambar here in Aussie. Shot well in my Blaser.
