Super product for whitetail deer
Shoots consistent groupings, and absolutely knocks down a deer at 150-200 yds. I switched from Hornady / Remington green box, will stay with the 270B Power-Shok for deer and hog hunting.

great ammo
i just bought a savage axis 270. the first rounds shot in it were the power shok soft points. it holds a very tight group @ 100yds. i shot two rounds back to back and put them within a gold dollar size pattern.

very good ammo
got a box for my 270 Savage went to range to sight in. only took 8 rounds at 100yards. last two shots was touching in center, I have used Federal for a few years after was recommended to me by another hunter, never had a bit of problems, an don't usually have to track far.

great amunition but some problems
the .270 is only as good as the ammunition you buy for the rifle. I recently bought 2 boxes of this ammunition and in one of the boxes 2 of the cases had intentions on the neck one more severe than the other. we found out after inspecting the ammunition and setting the bad ones aside. but one of the kids accidently mixed the rounds in with the others and we shot it. not only did it feel really weird but it also made the barrel extremely dirty. other than those couple of rounds the rest we're fine and im glad no one got hurt . on the side- we fired this amunition out of our new SAVAGE AXIS right off the shelf.
