Right ammo for my Sav 99
Rebuilt older 99 and needed cheap ammo to test. The results are in, fired several 5 shot 200 yd groups all under one inch, best is a 3/4 inch with 4 shots under I/2 inch and that darn flyer! And don't ask it is not for sale...

Excellent Accuracy and terminal performance in Ruger M77
I have taken several whitetail and mule deer with my Ruger M77 .243 using 100 gr. soft points in the last few years. From the bench my rifle shoots this ammo at .5 moa right off the shelf. I could not be happier with the accuracy and terminal performance of this round. I took a mule deer at 428 yds standing broadside last year using this round. The bullet broke a rib just behind the shoulder going in, but did not exit. The deer jumped at the impact and took 3 steps before expiring. Though it was a clean one shot kill I believe that this rounds effective range is a bit shorter. My shots on deer have ranged from 175 - 428 yds, but I would not recommend this round past 350 yds for deer

Lights out!
I've been using these loads for coyotes(a little heavy I know# here in Maine and the results have been devastating! Very accurate on dogs out to 200 yds and a bullet of this weight absolutely levels our larger Eastern yotes. Go for a lighter bullet #the 55 gr is smoking fast!) though if fur damage is a concern.

243 power-shok
i have been useing power-shok loads for 6 years now. these are the only rounds i buy. i got a deer each year and the deer never went more than 40 yards, with 2 of them dieing in their tracks. i makes tracking very easy. my average shot is only 40 yards. great round.

Power-Shok® 243 Win.
I was GA this past weekend shot 2 deer 1 @ 225 Yrds. and the other @ 140 Yrds. Each was a well placed shot, but the results were incredible. Entry was 2 times larger with exit 5 times larger. Neither deer went more than 40 yards and the trail was simple to locate and follow. Great round, great grouping and perfect results. Highly recommended!!
