Product Overview

Fusion® was the first rifle ammunition specifically built for deer hunting—and it's still the best, offering the largest expansion and highest weight retention in head-to-head comparisons against the competition. With a molecularly bonded jacket and a pressure-formed core, Fusion transfers maximum energy on target.

  • Copper jacket is electro-chemically bonded to the core, resulting in a perfectly uniform jacket
  • Excellent accuracy
  • Skived, pre-programmed nose provides consistent expansion
  • Maximum weight retention for deep penetration

Awesome Round
I have been using the Federal Fusion rounds since the late 80’s early 90’s in all of my different caliber rifles and they are very consistent with shot placement. The only issue I have right now if finding the 165gr 300 Win Mag and the 165gr 30.06 rounds in the stores. They have not been in stock since Covid. I have killed animals(Caribou) out to 536yrds with this round in my 300 Win Mag. The caribou never took a step after the shot.
