Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real "Sleepers"! Bought a couple of 325 round loose pack boxes back during the ammo shortage in the days just prior to the end of the days of Obama as president. Only bought them because of the availability at the time. Later on, when ammo of all kinds became generally available, I was giving some of this ammo of various types a try in my .22's. Not really expecting much, I ran some of these through my Marlin model 60. Group size of these was the best of several varieties of ammo that I tried that day. A couple of other .22 semi-autos I ran this stuff through, a Ruger 10/22 and an older Marlin 49, were equally happy with this ammo. Even my old Mossberg model 144 Target rifle showed a decided preference for this ammo over some of the "Target" labelled Scandinavian stuff I had purchased earlier on sale at our local Sportsman's Warehouse. For bulk packed ammo which didn't appear to be anything special, this not only exceeded my expectations but beat out several other varieties that I had brought with me to the range that day. In both functionality and accuracy, this ammo has my vote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Accurate in my," Marlin XT Bolt Action ". My Marlin XT .22 bolt action is very picky on what it shoots well. This ammo is one that shoots really well ! I'm shooting with a 4x scope and bipod with a rear bag. My worst 5 shot group at 50 yards is 1" and many times I achieve 1/2" groups. That's really excellent shooting with a off the shelf stock rifle and I'll take that all day long. I don't think I can really improve upon this accuracy. With at least 500 rounds shot I have had 0 FTF and just by the grouping size the ammo is very consistent. I have read other reviews about FTF and just wondering if maybe it's light strikes from a dirty action and a sluggish firing pin or a worn and peened down firing pin ? So for me, AUTOMATCH is the magick load for my rifle at 1200 FPS. I love this stuff and my Marlin XT Bolt loves it also. I would encourage any bolt action shooters to try this ammo but as we all know every rifle is different with what it shoots really well. I only wish it was sold in bricks of 500.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality is slipping I've been using this for pistol competition and small bore rifle practice for about three years. Unfortunately, quality had suffered recently. The last three boxes I have purchased have had ever increasing failure rates. Today, I had three fail to fires and 15 "squib" loads out of 80 rounds in silhouette match shooting. The squib rounds are more unsettling than the FTF. Hearing a mild "pop" and seeing the bullet hit the dirt after only 25 yards is a no-go. Some rounds wouldn't even cycle the bolt. Used to be quality ammo, but doesn't seem like it anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor reliability 38 out of 325 FTF (failure to fire) 11.6% failure rate for box 1 43 out of 320 FTF (box short by 5 rounds 1.5% underpacked) 13.2% failure rate for box 2 ill never buy again. High failure rates make the new shooter I was working with anxious around so many failures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for me. I'm shooting this in my M&P 15-22. I'm on my second box and have only had one FTF so far. I don't think I've ever had better results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in Sig Mosquito Tried several brands and this one worked consistently in my Sig Mosquito. Best target round I have found so far for my handgun. I think people have issues with this in long guns, but it works extremely well in my picky Mosquito.
