Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad news for deer and hogs Every year I test new bullets. This year I decided to try the fed 165gr TBT in my savage 110 .30-06.So far 1 hog and 4 deer have fallen to these. The hog was neck shot and DRT.Hit an 8pt double lungs and he fell in sight.Dropped a 10 in his tracks and also another 8 on managed hunts.Shot a doe quartering away and the exit broke her leg between shoulder and joint.Massive blood trail. All pass thru. All animals quickly and cleanly taken. That’s what we strive for.I will be switching to these in my other calibers also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great plain and simple I normally kill my deer in archery season but not this year. I had killed two doe with this round, And I was using a 30-06, with a 165 grain bullet. On the 1st one it was around 95 yards and I hit the animal in the high shoulder and she fell like a ton of bricks had fallen on top of her taking the lungs out, Clean pass through on both. On the second one, the deer was around 220 yards away and I hit this one in the spine, ill just say there were four or five vertebrae missing. That deer didn't move either. GREAT ROUND...... I will use again, and I recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only bullet I will use I have killed more deer with this bullet than any other. It used to be called the "trophy bonded bear claw" and I have been using it since about 2000. A vital hit on a whitetail drops the deer in its tracks. I have yet to have to track a deer hit with this bullet in the 13 years I have been using it. Massive shock wave puts the animal down, massive damage keeps it there. I cannot speak highly enough of this bullet, and will not use anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This load has great repeatable accuracy and nice expansion. I recently used this load to bring down a 600 lb. Red Stag scoring 309 by sci. The animal was shot at 90 yards slightly quartered away with one shot through the heart and lodged in the left shoulder. He fell and stood up twice before going down 10 yards from where he was shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good round... nice expansion and shock. I use a .03/06 Savage 110E. I was using a 165g round sighted in 1 in high at 100 yards. This round worked very well on two white tail deer this year. One was a nice 8pt buck around 180 to 200 pounds. Expansion was good and the shock look like it was good. My shot was just to the right of the front shoulder at 150 yards. The shot took out the top of the heart and the lungs were rendered non functional. The round could not be recovered to see the true expansion. The deer did run for about 50 to 75 yards with a very good blood trail. The doe was shot at about 75 yards above the shoulder. Both lungs were rendered non functional. Bullet was a pass tough and also was not received. This deer did not run at all from the shot. Bottom line. Great round it will now be my round of choice for years to come.
