Fusion Rifle

Fusion Rifle

Fusion® was the first rifle ammunition specifically built for deer hunting—and it’s still the best, offering the largest expansion and highest weight retention in head-to-head comparisons against the competition. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great accuracy in a semi-auto I bought 180 grain 308 Fusion for a heavy feral hog load. Rifle is a DPMS LR308 18" heavy barrel. I knew it was sub MOA with lighter 155 grain Palma match ammo, but didn't know about heavier bullets. Sighted the with this load today (02/10/2019). This pic is the first 5 out of the box. 3/4" @ 100 yards. 3 out of 5 were in one ragged 5/16" hole. I'm sure the other 2 that opened the group slightly are my fault. A local box store sells these for $21 a box. Match grade hunting ammo at $1.05 a round. I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the performance with handloads. I haven't used these on hogs yet but expect great weight retention and penetration based on other reviews. This will be my go-to store bought ammo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hunting ammo! I shoot Fusion ammo exclusively in my .30-06, .300 win mag, and .308 rifles for hunting. My rifles are finicky on ammo, and Fusion shoots MOA for me out of all three of them, as well as performs excellent on deer and hogs. It's well priced, shoots cleanly, reliable, and has great terminal performance. The blue box Federal soft points shoot almost as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ammo My son and have been hunting with this specific ammo for the past three seasons. OUTSTANDING! We have not missed or chased a deer yet. All dropped on the spot. Shots from 87 yards to 347 yards. I shoot with a R 700 and my son shoots with a Tikka T3 Light. And it is very affordable. Keep up the good work. We appreciate it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bullet I love these 180 gr rounds. I use them with my Ruger American with just a simple bushnell xlt scope and I'm getting 1 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards. They shoot the same pattern consistantly out to 200 yards. I imagine someone that new about shooting longer ranges could have the same results at even greater distances

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Red deer hunting! I have been using this ammunition for the season of Red deer hunting, and I are impressed by the incredible accuracy! Three deers so far, each with perfect shot. For training I use 180 grs Sellier & Belliot because they hit the target just as this bullet! Rifle is Tikka T3 Lite Stainless with silencer Hausken Standard SD228. Fusion = Absolutely recommended for red deer hunting! Greetings from Norway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shooting in an M1A I'm getting 1.5" at 150 yards consistently out of my Loaded M1A with the Federal Fusion 180 gr 308 ammo. That is 1 MOA, and it is holding true all the way out to 350 yards, probably further if my range would go that far! I love this stuff! For your reference of my upgrades: I have the Sadlak NM op rod spring guide, and Sadlak gas TIN piston, and a Bushnell Elite 4.5-30x50 scope mounted on a Smith Enterprises mount.
