Rated 5 out of 5 by from Without any problems My AR-15 is SIG Sauer M-400. I already used 4000 of them without any problems. They are perfect for training and short distance APSC competitions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flawless in my X95 Tavor I have ran thousands of rounds of this through my x95 tavor without any missfire, jam, or failure to fire. People who are running this in non military style rifles are probably having failure to fire due to the primer being harder. For those that reload know that federal and CCI primers are harder than Winchester primers. For the price of this ammo it’s more cost effective to buy this than reload.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just junk. Not happy Purchased 500 rounds and if the first 65 rounds i have had 13 misfire. I live in Canada and ammo is expensive enough. I I paid .35 cents a round I wouldn't be this upset but at .60 cents a round I'm mad . Shooting 3 separate rifles all rifles experienced any issues shooting Winchester super x 223 value pack ammunition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did what they were meant to do. Purchased a few types of ammo to try out for newly acquired rifle. Price was right on these, so grabbed a box to try out. 20 of 20 went bang. Groupings were ok, but I blame the shooter due to getting used to rifle. Also shot the 62 grain and they performed as well. I'll buy again. Weatherby Vanguard Series 1, 1:12 twist, 24" barrel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Check ya guns? I bought several thousand rounds of AE223H. (Black box at Walmart-Hey at $4.85 a box..they were going to discontinue but I bought so many they kept ordering, just raised the price WAY up!) I have fired way over 1000 thru 3 rifles (one factory, 2 I built) and one "pistol" with 10.5" barrel. I have shot more accurate ammo, but had "maybe" a half dozen flyers that weren't my fault out of those. (NOT counting ones that were!) I had exactly 1 round that would not fire and it looked like the primer had been set in off center and was "fired" before insertion into case. I know maybe 25 or so people who also used them with very few problems. Not sure why some are having so bad luck and others don't, but I fired well over 100,000 rounds while in the military and THAT stuff was horrible! (Ah, and some was made by Federal) This stuff tho, I have used from 20F up to 115F with no difference in performance or groups other than shifts of ALL rounds during really hot days. I am not sure I wold buy at todays prices, but probably would bulk. As Bugs would say. That's all folks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed Bought 1K rounds of black box AR223 and out of the first box 5 rounds had partially smashed cases (see pic). Also, the cases are tarnished more than they should be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 5 out of 20 duds I don't get it, this ammo has pretty high ratings everywhere I look. Brand new Savage Axis .223, first rounds through it were American Eagle AE223J. Five out of 20 did not fire the first time. I did not try them again. Unacceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely Surprised!! So a guy at the range today was trying to shoot these and kept complaining "They wont fire, Their duds, they wont cycle... on and on. Finally he comes over tome and tosses them on the bench and says "Here! Have the rest (about 3/4 of a 100rd box), I don't trust them." So I loaded a couple of mags and got the following results off of bipods on a bench; 16" 1:9 twist @ 50yds with a red dot- 1.5" 5 shot group. 20" 1:8 barrel @ 100 yds with a 6-12 scope- 1.7" 5 shot group. I don't know the price point but I would buy them for steel or multi gun matches!!
