Product Overview

Introducing a 9mm Luger load specifically designed for use in carbines. Syntech PCC™ is built to meet the exhaustive demands of fast-pace Pistol Caliber Carbine competitions, with flawless function in carbine platforms. Velocity and accuracy are optimized for long gun barrel lengths, with a bullet profile that provides excellent accuracy and reliable feeding in a variety of carbine platforms. Like all Syntech loads, Syntech PCC features the one-of-a-kind TSJ® projectile, which uses a polymer jacket to eliminate metal fouling and drastically reduce damaging barrel heat and friction. My results were underwhelming
I had high hopes that ammo made specifically for PC carbines would help me at 100 yards. Of course, 100 yards is farther than what PC carbines are intended for. I suppose my expectations were simply to high. For my purposes, I used a Keltec Sub2000 and a CZ Scorpion, both with about 16 inch barrels. I used Blazer 115 grain, Federal Syntech PCC 130 grain and Federal Syntech 150 grain for my test at 100 yards. Both carbines made 6-7 groups with Blazer 115 grain and Federal Syntech 150 grain ammo. My best estimate with the Federal Syntech PCC 130 grain ammo is that my groups were somewhere around 16-18 inches in diameter. Both of these carbines are really accurate and make tiny groups at 50 yards with Blazer 115 grain ammo. I will have to try to compare the 150 grain and 130 grain PCC ammo to my typical 115 grain Blazer at 50 yards next time I made it to the range. At 100 yards, my little test was a disappointment. Yes, I expected and hoped for something unrealistic, but these were my results. Make of this what you will.
