Tony started competing in 1974 at the age of 13 in NRA High-Power and Small-bore Rifle matches. Coached as a youngster by his father, a law enforcement officer and competitive shooter himself, Tony started shooting a handgun and was soon competing at many local and state matches. His first out-of-state match was in 1983 at the Second Chance Bowling Pin Shoot in Central Lake, Michigan—he finished in the top 10 of the revolver event and won his first gun. This was the catalyst to Tony’s competitive shooting passion and ongoing love for the shooting sports.

Throughout his professional shooting career, he consistently proves himself as a top competitor in a variety of shooting disciplines, including IPSC, Action Pistol and Long-Range Rifle. But 3-gun remains his favorite discipline.
