This Albuquerque, New Mexico, competitor began shooting handguns in 2010 with self-defense in mind, but he quickly fell into USPSA competition. During the past decade, he’s turned from a weekend hobbyist to a national competitor, Grand Master ranked shooter in multiple divisions, and passionate instructor and coach. “I love the camaraderie and friendships I’ve built within competitive circles and I highly recommend competitive shooting to anyone looking to improve their skills and knowledge of shooting and overall gun handling, as well as meeting some of the best people to grace this earth,” Tim says. He also turned his love of shooting sports into a full-time career as owner of Tim Herron Shooting, a firearms instruction company that has him traveling all over the country to share his knowledge.
