When James DeLambert was just 7 years old, he joined the local gun club in Holmen, Wisconsin. One day, a group pulled up to its grounds, set up a course of fire and shot a USPSA match. He and his dad had never heard of USPSA, but after watching the match and asking a lot of questions, James knew it was what he wanted to do. By the time he was 10, he had shot his first USPSA match. With hard work and help from other knowledgeable competitors, he achieved Grand Master status in USPSA at age 15, and Grand Master in steel challenge after that. He continued to shoot mostly Production Division and tallying a Top 16 USPSA nationals finish. James now shoots in the Carry Optics Division.
