I have used this product in my M77 Ruger for many many years. With a large objective, high mag lens mounted this is my primary set up for controlling Charlie. The 55gr flies flat and true, if zeroed at 200m little compensation is required from 50m – 250m for a target of this size. Beyond this, know your rifle/conditions/ballistics and the round is good for taking targets to 400m+. When I first started shooting .243 like many in the UK I was after a calibre for fox and deer, (using the mandatory 100gr). After much experimentation I have come to favour a dedicated vermin rifle. Little, (or nothing) will beat this 55gr round in a .243. Pricey yes, but its best to have the confidence to one shot kills. Flat, fast, accurate, reliable fox stopper.

I shoot a CZ550 in .243Win with a Zeiss scope. I have been using this ammunition to shoot foxes here in the UK for about a year now and I have found that this ammo is perfect for the job. About 15months ago I tested seven other brands with similar weight bullets (55gr to 75gr) for accuracy on the range and these came out top of the pile. The trajectory of this round is very flat for a .243cal bullet and this gives me the confidence to shoot live quarry out to 200yds without having to worry about large compensations for bullet drop. The bullets themselves have always caused massive damage to the quarry and I haven't had to fire any follow up shots since using this ammo as all foxes have dropped on the spot. Although this ammo is expensive when compared with some inferior brands, most serious shooters would much rather pay a few pence more for top ammo than have to spend time following up wounded game or to miss a shot altogether. I would especially recommend that anyone who wants to shoot medium sized vermin at ranges of 150yds+ should give these a go!
