Bought these for my Remington 78 Sportsman in 30.06. It ate the 150’s well. My group is at 0.25”/100yds. Was on another website ordering ammo when I looked the NT’’s up there. Sure nuf, discontinued not available. So headed straight to Federal. There are a few left in 06’ of the NT’ 150’s. Bought 6 boxes free ship over 149. It will be the last of them. Hate to see this loading go! I’ve got roughly 300 rounds once my order comes. Only thing I’ll have to do is tweak my zero as I run out of lot numbers. Oh, and killing deer? Those soft points have always done it for me in one shot. Of course bullet placement is the “Holy Grail”. The 150gr SP hasn’t failed me yet placed properly. Poor quality control with "zero" customer service! I contacted Federal over 3 factory rounds in a new box of .308's with absolutely no response. It's only by a miracle that I check ammunition purchased for hunting season. This ammunition was purchased for my son. Had he attempted to use it, the case would have expanded in the chamber to the point where the gun would not be usable until the exspanded case was removed, which usually is done from the muzzle end and driven out with an aluminum rod. I'm very disappointed in Federals lack of concern for their own products, and even more so with their lack of care for the safety of consumers! Guys and gals, check your ammo, it could possibly mean life or death with a faulty round.
