V•Shok Nosler Ballistic Tip

V•Shok Nosler Ballistic Tip

Part #: P204C

Long distances, stiff breezes and tough predators are no match for the Nosler® Ballistic Tip® Varmint. The bullet’s thin jacket produces violent energy release and minimal penetration, while its boat-tail design and polymer tip produce less bullet drop and wind drift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I built an AR-15 in .204 Ruger with a 24" 1:12 heavy barrel. I don't reload, so I tried some popular cartridges from other manufacturers. My primary target is coyotes, so I wanted a 40 grain bullet. My barrel wouldn't stabilize well any 40's at the really high velocities. I tried this slower load from Federal and immediately saw my groups shrink to MOA or better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far So Good. I used a different brand of ammo that almost everyone has used or tried in the past and was very happy. One day I switched, just to see how my .204 tikka T3 Varmint heavy barrel liked them. Wow! Now to test them on a Coyote.
