Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect All 'Round Soft Point Load for Africa When I go on Safari, the 375H&H is my "light rifle." I use a bigger bore double rifle for elephant, cape buffalo and hippo, but bring the 375H&H as a back up DG rifle and for everything else. I've lost count of the game I've taken with the 375H&H, but it includes eland, eight or nine zebra, wildebeast, several kudu, waterbuck, several bushbuck, dozens of impala, grysbok. Every animal was taken with a 300gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, except the grysbok, which was taken with a solid. The weight range taken with the 300gr Bear Claw is from more than 1,000lbs to less than 100lbs. What is always amazing to me is the incredibly consistent performance of the 300gr Bear Claw across the whole range of game. Bullets recovered from larger game look like they belong in magazine ads, and while we don't have the opportunity to recover the bullets used on smaller game, the perfect terminal performance is obvious in both the quick kills and when the animal is opened up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 375 H&H mag trophy bonded I used this round in my rifle hunting Elk in Montana. I was presented with a shot at a large 6x6 Elk, 250 meters distance, 150 meters up. One shot, ran 75 yds, shredded the diaphragm and the exit wound was the same size as the entrance. Returned home and personally reported to Mr. Carter in Houston. I will use nothing else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for water buffalo Just got back from a big game hunt in the Northern Territory, Australia. Ammunition performed wonderfully on big bodied buffalo. First shot did the damage but a second shot was required to put the animal down. The PH requested a 3rd shot into the spine on approaching the downed animal for safety reasons. Awesome bullet in an awesome caliber!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Federal 300 Grain TBBC Excellent! Performance: I took the Federal (Federal P375T1) Trophy Bonded Bear Claw to Africa this past august and performed extremely well on large plains game such as Eland, Wildebeest, Kudu and Warthog. We did not recover bullets as they passed through leaving a small exit wound. This leads me to believe the TBBC may be well suited for even larger game such as Buffalo although I have not tried it - yet. Accuracy: Practicing & sighting in before the trip I was able to consistently get 1-2 inch groups from my Blaser R8 Kilombero (Safari Barrel, 22mm muzzle diameter, 1-12 twist, 6 grooves) on a bench rest at 200 yards. Service: When I ordered the ammo from Cabelas I asked for and was able to get the boxes of ammo from the same lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buffalo dropped after first shot Absolutely amazing ammo. I am just back from Africa where I was hunting buffalo and some other big antelope (kudu, zebra). Very good accuracy (all animals shot at 140-170 yards and weight retention. All animals dropped at first shot. The most outstanding result was buffalo. A big bull collapsed where he stood - my PH was genuinely surprised.
