Rated 5 out of 5 by from The swiss army knife of rounds (UK) I reviewed 6 years ago, and am pleased to say the round in 308, is still just as good, nice to see some consistency, in this Brexit Britain world! Thank you Federal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ammo I have been shooting these bullets since 2008 in my 308 whenever I bought it new and my rifle shot the best groups with these bullets I've harvested deer and hog without them running out of sight I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time tested performan. I have never had any problems with accuracy from federal and this was no exception. 200 yard shot landed perfectly behind the shoulder double lung and hart. Minamal meat loss and the bullet expanded perfectly and held together even after hitting ribs on both sides.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Grouping I bought this ammo because I had used it in .270 with good results. I know it does well on Whitetail deer, because I've taken quite a few with it. I took my new .308 to the range, using a rest and allowing the barrel to cool between shots, couldn't get a consistent group. I checked everything and went back to the range and had the same results. I may very well be my rifle just doesn't like this ammo. I tried a different ammo and was able to get a very good, consistent group. This ammo may work great for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT FOR BLACK BEAR These are not for black bear unless you make a perfect lung shot. We didn't get premium ammunition because our taxidermist friend said he had a new full box of 308 Nosler Partitions to give to our son. He left early for his camp and forgot about us. Leaving the boy to use these left over soft deer loads on the BEAR hunt, We did the black bear hunt and a cinnamon black bear was found laying on a rock. Our son shot it in the shoulder area at 75 yards a side shot. The bear rolled and fell and then ran. We chased it 7 hours in light snow til we lost the blood trail. These rounds wont do. That shot with any Aframe, accubond or nosler partition would of been a kill shot. I know as his dad thru my bear harvests. I know we failed to plan accordingly and it cost my son his dream bear with this soft ammo. Cinnamon brown bears are very rare in PA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Picked up a new rifle and went to the range with a box of sako, hornady customs and a box of federals in 308. Sako first and after zeroing scope gave about 1 1/2 inch at 100 yards, federal next. 1 sighter then 3 shots at another target gave me about quater of an inch! Needless to say, didn't bother with the hornady! These were the 150g, yet to try on red deer!
