Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive factory ammunition Got 3 boxes of this ammo along with an old Remington 700 on a trade. The 130 grain Power Shok grouped very good, well under 3/4". I am very impressed (always have been) with Federal ammunition. It used to be a starting point for sight in, now I use it as the standard. Cant wait to hand to hand that rifle and the rest of the ammo to my son on his birthday. Solid rifle, solid ammo. Thank you very much and keep it up. Best regards, Chris

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 130gr Consistent sub-MOA in my BRNO ZKK-600 .270 Discovered these around 20 years ago when traveling to Alberta to hunt Whitetails. I bought a box to replace the Handloads I normally take on deer hunts, only to discover I had left them behind. Fired three rounds downrange at 100 m, and I could’ve covered them all with a dime. Bagged a nice big buck that year using these, and I was sold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for the money Three moose have died with my 270. browning A-bolt all with 130 grain Power Shock. I shot the first one head on at 100yds , it toppled over backwards on the spot. My buddy killed a 38" bull at 200 yds , it took 4 steps and fell over and I killed another at about 35 yds that fell over after a step or two. The 35 yard killed did cause some bullet separation. The bullet damage 3 different ribs on the exit, but I almost expected that with a soft point bullet at 35 yards.. But both other moose at 100 and 200 yds the bullet held together very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great in my rifle I have a 270 rifle and I tried several loads of more expensive ammo and they just didn't group good , I purchased a box of these for the price to get a new scope close and loved the accuracy so I tried it hunting . I have killed 10 deer so far with it the farthest out to 400 yards and all with one shot kills plus a few hogs. Great price and so far does a great job , not fancy but hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing accuracy and hunting performance My rifle is a Savage Axis II in 270 win. Great rifle for the money, especially if your on a budget. I hunt in Oregon were there is a lot of open land and the 270 win is a great flat shooting caliber for those longer range shots on game. So I decided to break inn the rifle right before deer season, went to Walmart and bought some federal 130gr ammo.I sighted my rifle scope, and I was amazed by the accuracy of the factory ammo! I shot 3 shot groups at 100 yards that were 1/2 moa. Amazing! I shot a buck at 286 yards on opening day. Shot was to the bucks neck. The buck dropped in it's track's. Great accuracy and great hunting performance on game. For the money , I think it's hard to beat federal ammo.
