Fusion Rifle

Fusion Rifle

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hunting round I harvested a 9 pt whitetail this morning at just under 200 yds. I hit the shoulder and the buck ran 20 yds and dropped. There was no exit wound. When I dressed the deer, the bullet had kept together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6.5CM I recently made the switch from .257Rob to 6.5CM, I picked up the cheapest ammo I could to zero, break in my barrel and give me brass to work with. I shot a .956" 3 shot group at 200yds. today with the Fedral Non Typical 140gr. ammo from my Winchester XPR.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fusion 6.5 creedmoor 140 grain Last month I ordered 2 rifles in 6.5 creedmoor. The first rifle was a winchester XPR which was going to be my wifes new hunting rifle. The second gun was a Bergara chassis rifle. I work in the hunting industry and have access to a lot of different ammo. I have reps from all companies wanting us to push and sell different products. I bought 2 boxes of the federal fusion 140 grain and let me tell you about the one box I shot. I took the xpr to the range and put the target out at 25 yards after a bore sight just to make sure I was close. The second shot I made didn't eject when i pulled my bolt back. I looked at the case and it was cracked about a 1/4 inch right in the center of the case. This is some weak brass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate load Just bought a Ruger Hawkeye FTW and mounted a Leupold VX6 scope. After zeroing scope, I tested 5 different loads of different brands to see which one the Ruger "liked". The Fusion was very accurate cold or hot and consistently shot 1/2 MOA groups at 100 yds. This will be my hunting round in this rifle. Will try it in the Rem 700 30-06 too.
