Would not use any other ammo inside my home.
I have my own range on the property. I shoot at steel targets. The frame is 2in tube steel with the same hinges found on semi trailer doors. The first impact swung the target all the way around and bent the hinge. This was out 20 yards with my trusty old S&W 4506. I never experianced a single malfunction of any kind. Very accurate and yes the recoil is less with the 165 grainer than the 230. Well worth a couple more $$

unique
Unique, over priced, low recoil, but cheap, not enough expansion and a bullet that soft and light weight needs to be bonded !!

Self defense, wouldn't trust it
While out target practicing with these rounds in my Sig 1911, out of two magazines, I had 4 complete duds and one was a delayed firing. In a self-defense situation, I would not want to trust a round with these results. I've fired all different types of rounds through my 1911, and not one other type or brand produced any duds. Not gonna use these again.
