Location of hunt:
Fusion Lite .308 Win. 170-grain
The first morning we sat together, but didn't see a bear. The next day, we saw a bear, but it never got out where we could get a shot off. Then Anna decided she could handle being by herself in a tree stand, as long as the Guide was not far away.
On the third day, she saw a bear, but again it did not move out to where she could take a shot.
On the last day, a bear finally came to where she could get a shot. Anna very calmly waited for a good shot, then put the Fusion 170-gr bullet right though the heart and lungs.
The bear went less than 20 yards before collapsing. The guide said it was an absolutely perfect shot. And as you can see from the picture, Anna is proud of her trophy.
Thank you so much for producing this Lite load -- I would not have been able to spend five glorious days with my daughter, and she might never have had the chance to experience the joy of a hunt, especially a successful one.
