Tips and Tricks

Sighting in and practicing with the rifle you will use is never more important than when you’re hunting large and/or dangerous game. These opportunities are very special—and for some, true once-in-a-lifetime hunts. Be sure you’re ready by practicing long before you plan to hunt. Ensure your rifle is dialed in by shooting it off of a bench, but also make sure you can shoot accurately from realistic shooting positions. Take shots from shooting sticks or other shot-steadying products you’ll take in the field. And be sure that you can quickly and effectively function and reload your firearm.
